“To bring Jasmin Lobo to life, I spent time in Christian churches and met a girl from Bandra to understand her world — a small but powerful step in truly embodying her character,” Sheena said, adding that discovering Jasmin’s layers was a journey of growth and empathy.
Praising Kajol’s Commanding Performance in The Trial 2
Speaking about Kajol’s impactful portrayal of Noyonika Sengupta in The Trial 2, Sheena was full of admiration.
“Kajol has completely nailed the character in Season 2 — there’s nobody else who could have brought such depth and intensity to the role,” she said.
She further revealed that while Kajol appears serious and intense on-screen, her real-life persona is full of warmth and wit. “She’s very funny and warm at heart. Shooting with her was not only fun but also a masterclass in acting. Her dialogue delivery, emotional graph, and natural rhythm — they teach you so much as a co-actor.”
